Cookie policy

A cookie is a small file stored on your device by the browser so the site can recognise a session, a preference or a technical id. Similar technologies (local storage, session storage, pixels) can play related roles; we treat them the same for transparency.

Main basis for non-essential storage: Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy), transposed in Romania mainly by Law no. 506/2004 on personal data processing and privacy in electronic communications, together with the GDPR when a cookie processes personal data.

These keep the site working: security, account session and normal platform operation (including first-party technical access logging on our servers for integrity, abuse control and on-platform stats — not cross-site advertising). Without them the site or account may break.

Optional cookies (Google analytics / marketing) remain separate and load only after panel consent.

If enabled, preference cookies keep non-critical settings longer. Analytics cookies (Google Tag Manager / analytics-style tags when you accept the Analytics category) help us see which pages are read, without selling your profile.

Optional cookies are not set before consent. The on-site panel (“Accept all” / “Essential only” / “Customize”, plus “Cookie settings”) is live. You may refuse analytics and still read the site; only our internal stats may be missing. GTM loads only after analytics consent.

In the current platform form we do not run a personalised “cross-site tracking” ad network. The Marketing category is shown for transparency but is product-disabled until explicitly enabled. Social-network links may set cookies on their domains after you interact with their widgets — their policies apply there.

• On-site consent panel — accept, essential-only, or category customise; reopen via “Cookie settings”. • Choice is stored on the device (~12 months or until you change it) and, if signed in, on the account per device. • Browser settings — block/delete cookies; blocking all cookies may break login.

Withdrawing consent for optional cookies does not affect prior lawfulness. Non-cookie account data is handled under GDPR — rights.

This policy is updated when we change technologies or partners. The date at the bottom marks the published version. When new optional cookie categories appear or purposes change materially, we bump the panel policy version and re-prompt consent where required.
