The platform is named RoAdevar. The official domain is roadevar.ro.
The mission is to inform the public through verified truth, responsible analysis and space for signed opinion written by people.
RoAdevar is not affiliated with any party and does not promote partisan propaganda.
Chapter II.
The newsroom is guided by truth, independence, clarity, responsibility, courage and respect for the reader.
News and opinion are marked distinctly. Facts are checked; opinions are owned by the author.
Forbidden: deliberate disinformation, plagiarism, hate speech, defamation and evidence manipulation.
Chapter III.
Authors and contributors accepted by the newsroom may publish after registration and compliance with this Code.
Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their material and for correct citation of sources.
The newsroom may request changes, delay publication or reject material that breaches standards.
Chapter IV.
Headlines must reflect the content. Misleading clickbait is forbidden.
Sources are indicated transparently. Unconfirmed information is labelled as such.
Images and media materials respect copyright and the dignity of persons.

Factual errors are corrected promptly with a clear update note.
Readers may flag errors or ethics issues via the contact page.
Serious breaches of the Code may lead to material withdrawal and suspension of publishing rights.

Editorial decisions belong to the newsroom, not funders, sponsors or political interests.
Voluntary donations support the platform and do not buy editorial influence.
Transparency information may be published on the Transparency page as it becomes available.

This Code may be updated by the newsroom. The current version is the one published on the site.
