The QR generator on Ionel Nistor Tools builds a code for a link, a piece of text, a Wi-Fi network, an email or a phone number. You choose the type, fill in the fields and see the code at once.

You can set the size (192, 256, 320 or 512) and the error-correction level, from L to H. Level H holds up better if part of the image is covered. You can change the code colour and the background; high contrast, such as black on white, stays the safest for scanning.

For Wi-Fi, the code can open the phone’s connection screen, with the SSID, WPA/WPA2 or WEP, or no password, and a hidden-network option. Special characters in the network name or password are escaped automatically.

You download the PNG locally. The image is drawn in the browser and is not uploaded. Reloading the page clears the fields. A public QR can be read by anyone who scans it, so it is not the place for real passwords, tokens or private data on a poster.
