AIK and IFK Göteborg finished 2-2 on Saturday 17 October at Strawberry Arena in Solna. Taha Ayari, 21, had an open goal from close range in the second half, at 1-1, and hit the bar. He owned the miss: “That has to be a goal, it isn’t luck.” Fotbollskanalen quotes him afterwards. SVT ran the clip off TV4’s feed.
Kick-off was due at 17:30. Fireworks from the away end reached the pitch; the warm-up stopped. The start moved to 17:40, then 18:10 — about 40 minutes, with boos. IFK publicly distanced itself from the scene. These reports are not a criminal file; they are a delay and a club statement.
Nino Zugelj opened in the 27th minute, after a split home defence. Diogo Tomas equalised from a corner, 36, then hurt a shoulder in a celebration slide on dry grass. A Simmelhack header, before the break, was ruled out: too rough on Eskil Edh’s back. On 68 the same Dane was given, 1-2, from Felix Eriksson’s cross. Axel Kouame made it 2-2 in the 75th.
Ayari went off on 71. Zugelj left at half-time, a precaution for the thigh. Tobias Heintz, late, for a shoulder. SVT: Blåvitt seventh, two points above AIK ninth. The visitors’ run of five wins stops; the hosts are on a sixth match without three points. Next for Gnaget: Sirius, away.
Referee: Kristoffer Karlsson. Allsvenskan round 24. Tomas was, SVT says, making his first start since a wrist injury in August. This is not a recap of the 2015 derby: it is this night, 2-2, Ayari’s bar at 1-1.
We have not turned the miss into a sentence on the season. Ayari said it had nothing to do with earlier rounds: he simply had to score, sole, not instep. Commentator Niklas Jarelind shouted that the goal was open. The score stayed 2-2.
