Russia’s Defence Ministry said on Wednesday that a fighter aircraft had crashed in the Kaliningrad region during a scheduled training flight. Digi24, after Anadolu, names it a Su-30SM. TASS, citing the same ministry: an Su-30. Two designations. A reported accident, not a cause.

The statement, after TASS: the crew ejected; a ground search-and-rescue team evacuated them; the pilots’ lives are not in danger. The flight carried no ammunition and came down in an uninhabited area. That is the ministry’s line, not a closed inquiry.

Russian press, cited by Digi24: Chernyakhovsky district, between Timofeyevka and Zelyony Bor; both pilots injured, taken to a military hospital. Press sources, not the communiqué. “Lives not in danger” is not the same as “unhurt”.

The cause has not been announced officially. TASS also carries, the same day, another file on an Su-24 in the Chelyabinsk region. Another aircraft, another place. We do not mix them.

The ministry speaks of a training flight, not combat. Kaliningrad is an exclave, not a theatre named here.

Dump Digi24. The rewrite rests on Digi24/Anadolu and on TASS, which quotes the ministry.
