The COP31 UN Climate Change Conference is held in Antalya, Türkiye, from 9 to 20 November 2026. The UNFCCC secretariat has announced the venue as the Antalya EXPO Center in Aksu. It is not a general-public ticketed festival.

Meetings of parties to the Framework Convention, the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement run in parallel. The official calendar includes COP31, CMP21, CMA8 and the subsidiary bodies SBSTA65 and SBI65.

Negotiations take place in plenaries, working groups and consultations. Some sessions are public or streamed; others are reserved for accredited delegations and observers. A press statement does not replace an adopted decision.

Registration is through the UNFCCC Online Registration System (ORS). States, UN organisations, intergovernmental institutions and eligible NGOs nominate their representatives. It is not an ordinary ticket sale.

Negotiating texts may change until adoption. Reporting should distinguish drafts, political statements, voluntary pledges and decisions approved by the parties. An “understanding” announced by a presidency is not automatically a closed agreement.
