Eugen Doga International Airport in Chișinău said Air Serbia will open a direct Chișinău–Belgrade service from 3 June 2027. The announcement is dated 21 October. This is a route plan, not a flight already being flown and not an inaugural service held today.
The flights are listed four times a week, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with ATR 72-600 aircraft. Ziar.md carries the airport statement. Belgrade would then become a new destination reachable directly from the capital, if and when the timetable holds.
Passengers could use the Nikola Tesla hub for onward links in the Air Serbia network, including New York, Chicago, Shanghai and Guangzhou. That is the connection offer described by the airport, not a list of tickets already sold on 21 October and not a guarantee that every city is available on every frequency.
Air Serbia is Serbia’s national airline, wholly owned by the government in Belgrade. The same announcement puts its fleet at more than 30 aircraft: Airbus A330-200 on long haul, A320 and A319, plus ATR 72-600 and Embraer E-195. The launch falls in the year the operator marks a century of aviation tradition, tracing back to Aeroput in 1927. A calendar anniversary, not a commemorative flight already departed from Chișinău.
MOLDPRES reported the same day, also from the airport: start on 3 June 2027, the same four days, the same aircraft type. IPN confirms the frequency and the aircraft. AeroRoutes published, also on 21 October, a planned JU108/JU109 ATR72 timetable four times a week from 3 June 2027. A loaded schedule, not operations already begun.
Until the first take-off, the closed fact is the announcement: a Chișinău–Belgrade route planned from 3 June 2027, four times a week, with ATR 72-600 aircraft. It is not a winter 2026 timetable service and not a flight already operated.
