ASR - Alianța Strategie pentru România: A New Political Party Seeking to Put Strategy and Responsibility at the Heart of Public Decision-Making

At a time when citizens' trust in the political class is constantly being tested, a new political party is emerging on Romania's political scene: Alianța Strategie pentru România (ASR), a political organisation that aims to promote an approach based on strategy, responsibility and practical solutions to the challenges facing society.

ASR is founded on the idea that Romania needs more than short-term reactions to immediate problems. The country's development requires clear objectives, medium- and long-term planning, and continuity in the implementation of public policies.

The party aims to bring forward people who want to become actively involved in public life and in the development of their local communities, including those who have never previously been involved in politics.

Among the priorities promoted by ASR are economic development, support for entrepreneurship and private initiative, the modernisation of public administration, improvements to public services, and the development of policies based on the real needs of society.

Another objective is to bring politics closer to citizens. ASR seeks to develop a structure in which members and local communities can contribute proposals, identify problems and put forward solutions, so that political initiatives are not developed exclusively at central level.

The party also places emphasis on the use of technology and digital tools for organisation, communication and easier access to information, at a time when the relationship between citizens and public institutions needs to become simpler and more efficient.

For Romanians living abroad, ASR considers it important to maintain a genuine connection with Romania and to encourage their involvement in the country's development, including through the professional and social experience they have gained in other countries.

In the period ahead, Alianța Strategie pentru România aims to develop its organisational structures, publicly present its projects and priorities, and open a dialogue with people interested in contributing to the development of a political alternative based on strategy and results.

For ASR, the real challenge begins with turning principles and objectives into concrete projects. Ultimately, a political party's ability to earn public trust will depend on the people it brings together, the solutions it proposes and, above all, the results it is able to deliver.
