One of South Korea’s major traditional celebrations comes to Paris this weekend.

Jardin d’Acclimatation is hosting a programme on 19 and 20 September devoted to Chuseok, a Korean celebration associated with harvest, family and ancestral traditions.

The event runs from 10:00 to 19:00 local time on both Saturday and Sunday.

The programme aims to introduce French audiences to Korean culture and traditions in a setting accessible to families and visitors of different ages.

Admission announced by organisers is €7 or is included in certain park passes.

In Korea, Chuseok is an important period for family reunions and traditions connected with harvest and remembrance of ancestors.

The Paris event is a cultural celebration in France, not the official calendar date of Chuseok in Korea in 2026.
