Paris’s Carreau du Temple hosts a new edition of Food Temple, devoted in 2026 to Morocco and the connections between food, music and culture.

The event forms part of Saison Méditerranée 2026 and runs from 18 to 20 September.

According to Carreau du Temple’s official programme, the opening evening is on Friday, 18 September from 18:00 to 23:00 local time, not on Saturday.

Organisers propose a mix of contemporary Moroccan food, pop-up restaurants, a food market, DJ sets and music inspired by Gnawa traditions.

Retro Cassetta, SAMIFATI & Transe Gnawa Express and Francis Latombe are announced for the opening. Admission to the opening evening is paid, according to the organisers.

The festival continues on Saturday, 19 September from 11:00 to 20:00 and on Sunday, 20 September from 11:00 to 17:30. General weekend admission is free, except for workshops, meals and the opening evening.

Food Temple uses gastronomy as a starting point for exploring wider culture, with the Morocco edition connecting cuisine, music and contemporary traditions.
