Formula 1 has confirmed the 2027 season calendar, featuring 24 Grands Prix and a record 10 Sprint weekends. The expansion of the Sprint format is one of the most significant sporting changes in the schedule announced on 16 September 2026.

A particularly notable element is Monaco’s inclusion among the 2027 Sprint events. The street circuit is one of the championship’s most historic and narrow venues, making the addition of a Sprint a substantial change to the Monaco weekend.
