Jean-Michel Jarre will play BT Arena in Cluj-Napoca on 27 September 2027, on the international Oxygene & Beyond tour. The date was announced on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, on the artist’s website. It is a concert date, not Wednesday night’s Amsterdam Dance Event show. Zile și Nopți writes that, at this stage, Cluj is the only Romanian stop.
The European run opens on 21 September 2027 at Spodek in Katowice, then Łódź, Gdańsk, Cluj, Budapest, Berlin, Prague, three nights in Amsterdam, Brussels, three nights in Paris, London, Manchester and Barcelona. Further dates are to be announced. A worldwide continuation is planned for 2028. The Cluj concert has not taken place; general tickets were not on sale on Wednesday.
The Cluj pre-sale begins on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, at 10:30 CET; general sale on Thursday, 29 October, also at 10:30 CET, according to the official notice. Zile și Nopți names KIMARO Entertainment as organiser, with Kiss FM’s support. Poland’s pre-sale opens earlier, on 22 October.
Oxygene & Beyond marks 50 years since the 1976 album Oxygène. Jarre said: “This tour is both a celebration of where it all began and an invitation to imagine what comes next. The adventure continues.” On 20 November 2026 BMG will issue an anniversary edition: a 2026 stereo remaster, Dolby Atmos and 5.1 mixes, plus extra material. That edition was not in shops on Wednesday.
He is working on a new album, due in spring 2027, with no track list yet. Some of that material will be played live for the first time on the tour. On 5 November 2026 Thames & Hudson will publish MACHINES by Jean-Michel Jarre: A History of Electronic Music. Neither the book nor the new album is released with the tour announcement.
The announcement came from Amsterdam Dance Event, where Jarre is guest of honour for the 30th edition. On Wednesday evening, 21 October 2026, he plays the sold-out “Oxygene & Beyond: A Sonic Journey Celebrating 30 Years of ADE” at AFAS Live, presented by MOJO and Insomniac. That is an ADE special, not the Cluj date. His ADE Pro programme also includes three talks on music, machines, creativity and artificial intelligence.
Zile și Nopți recalls the outdoor laser-and-projection shows that made his reputation. The 2027 tour is billed in arenas, not as a new open-air attendance record. The 2016 Cluj concert at Sala Polivalentă belonged to the Electronica tour, not this one.
