Three men on a motorcycle opened fire on Sunday evening, near Pushpa Park in Juhu, Mumbai, on actor Tiger Shroff's car. Shroff was not hit. His driver, Firdous, was wounded in the hand; an autorickshaw driver, taken to Cooper, is the second injured man. Juhu police have booked three unidentified people for attempted murder and arms offences. This is not a conviction. Who fired has not been identified.
A social-media post and an audio clip, attributed to Anil Pandit, a purported Lawrence Bishnoi gang member, claimed the shots and threatened anyone who works with Salman Khan. Police say the claim is not verified. The shooters' identities and any gang link remain open. Pandit is named in the press, not tried here.
The Indian Express and NDTV match the same line: 15 teams, a motorcycle dumped toward Andheri, the driver's statement, and chief minister Devendra Fadnavis asking for a fast inquiry. A likeness to earlier shootings put on Bishnoi is a lead, not proof.
A claim on the internet is not a verdict. A threat against Khan's collaborators is a message, not a proven list of future victims. Shroff walked away. Two people are hurt. Three unknowns are on the file.
Bishnoi, jailed in Gujarat, has been tied before to threats against Khan, including after the 1998 blackbuck case. That is case history, not proof that Sunday was his.
Juhu is beach and a street of stars. On Sunday it was a motorcycle and gunfire. Until an identification, the gang remains an unverified claim, and the actor a witness who was not hit.
