On the night of 18 to 19 October, Russian ballistic missiles hit Kyiv. Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced a 21-year-old woman dead. AP, citing local authorities: one dead, eight injured, buildings and infrastructure in three districts. Hromadske writes “at least five” injured, five of them in Solomianskyi, one hospitalised. The figures still do not match. We have not put a name; the sources do not give one.

The above-ground Chernihivska metro station, on the left bank, was damaged, Kyiv Post writes. Tracks and cable network, the metro said, quoted by BBC Ukraine. Chernihivska and Lisova were temporarily closed for entry and exit. In the morning, trains ran between Akademmistechko and Darnytsia. The whole metro is not shut.

In Solomianskyi, debris hit the ground floor of a 25-storey block and a medical site. Klitschko: a consultative diagnostic centre, more than 200 windows blown out, no staff injured, no patients in the building at the time. In Desnianskyi, the emergency service found a dead person at a fire in a non-residential building near the metro — the same 21-year-old victim, in the BBC account. In Dniprovskyi: a non-residential building and, in Hromadske, an educational site.

Datagroup says a data centre is out of service, the equipment cannot be restored, staff were unhurt, services continue from backup. The Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers: roof and structural damage at Cosmo Multimall, nearby. Those are company statements, not the DSNS tally.

AP: Ukraine’s Air Force describes an overnight attack with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and 269 drones; 243 drones and four missiles destroyed or suppressed. We have not checked each intercept. BBC: in the morning, a Shahed at Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk, and a death in Irpin — another point, not the woman at Chernihivska.

Hromadske and Kyiv Post highlight the lack of an American warning, on sources of RFE/RL journalist Alex Raufoglu. On 18 October Zelensky said intelligence sharing had resumed. Trump denied that Washington had stopped it. That remains their dispute, not a finding of ours.
