Milsami Orhei and Zimbru Chișinău finished 1-1 on Sunday, 18 October 2026, at the Municipal Stadium in Orhei, the last match of Super Liga matchday 15. Radio Moldova reported it in the evening. The Moldovan Football Federation confirmed the minutes, the scorers and the two missed penalties. There were 1,300 spectators. Igor Boșca refereed.
Radu Gînsari opened in the eighth minute. Zimbru had a chance to level before the break, but Matteo Amaral Amoroso dos Santos put a 26th-minute penalty wide. The Brazilian made amends in the 53rd. Three minutes later, after a foul by Andrei Macrițchii, Gînsari stepped up again. Ivan Dokic saved.
On the same matchday Politehnica-UTM won 4-1 at Bălți. Marin Căruntu scored twice, Danil Andreiciu once, the hosts pulled one back through Marin Hacina in the 58th, and Bălți goalkeeper Artur Nazarciuc’s own goal in the 78th settled it. A day earlier Sheriff Tiraspol beat Real Sireți 2-0 and Petrocub Hîncești drew 0-0 at home with Dacia-Buiucani.
After 15 rounds Sheriff have 34 points. Zimbru sit second, six points back. Petrocub are third on 26. Radio Moldova then lists Dacia-Buiucani, Politehnica-UTM, Milsami and Real Sireți. CSF Bălți are last, on 5 points.
Next up, at Hîncești, is Petrocub against Milsami, a meeting of the last two champions. Sheriff visit Politehnica-UTM, Real Sireți host Dacia-Buiucani, and Zimbru play Bălți. A point in Orhei keeps Zimbru behind Sheriff; it does not close the gap.
The draw is not a refereeing scandal and it does not rewrite the table on its own. It is a 1-1 with two wasted penalties, on a weekend when the leaders won and the title holders took a home point. For now the table still belongs to Sheriff.
