FIFA published the FIFA/Coca-Cola women’s national-team ranking on Tuesday, 20 October 2026. The Moldovan Football Federation says Moldova is 122nd, with 1,131.85 points, three places lower than in June. FIFA’s own ranking page marks today’s update; the next one is set for 7 December.

In June, IPN reported 119th. FMF gives no cause for the drop beyond the ranking figure. We do not tie the place to a single match.

At the top, FMF has Spain on 2,121.5 points, then the United States on 2,042.38 and Germany on 2,034.62. An Indonesian recap from tvOne confirms Tuesday’s update and the same first two: Spain, then the United States.

On 9 October, still in Chișinău, Moldova beat Georgia 1-0, Nadejda Colesnicenco scoring; IPN reported the win. On 12 October, still at Zimbru, Georgia reversed it, 0-1, Natia Danelia in the 65th minute, FMF says. Those were friendlies, not qualifiers.

FMF lists two friendlies with Montenegro, in Podgorica, on 2 and 5 December. They have not been played. On 3 November the women’s team finds out its 2027 Nations League opponents; FMF says it will play four or six matches in League C between 23 February and 15 June 2027. That is a calendar, not a result.

The FIFA ranking is a points list, not a title. 122nd does not qualify or eliminate anyone from the World Cup. Qualifying for 2027 has already been running; we are not reopening it here.
