Poiana Brașov hosts “Oncoviziune 2026. Progress through interdisciplinarity at the convergence of science, technology and humanity” from 17 to 19 September 2026. The meeting combines the 12th Congress of the Federation of Romanian Cancer Societies, the 32nd Congress of the Romanian Radiotherapy Society and the 37th Congress of the Romanian Society of Radiotherapy and Medical Oncology, at the K2 Conference Centre.

The official site announces 17 CME credits for the congress and 6 credits for the brachytherapy course. The organising-committee chair is Prof. Rodica Anghel; the SRROM president is Prof. Laura Rebegea.

On 17 September, from 13:00 to 19:15 in Room 1, the brachytherapy course covers imaging, anaesthetic management, multicentre databases, personalised treatment of gynaecological cancers, contact irradiation and risk assessment. In parallel, a residents’ afternoon occupies Room 2.

On 18 and 19 September the congress sessions continue across several cancer types and treatment lines. Organisers have announced hotel-to-K2 Alpin transfers on the mornings of 18 and 19 September.
