Romanians are also helping push the Polish president’s messages on social media — as they do for some nationalist politicians — according to a G4Media report on ties between Karol Nawrocki’s team and consultants in Romania.

AUR leader George Simion has sided with Nawrocki. On 30 October he posted on X: “Dictator Tusk is crushing democracy in Poland right now! Freedom for Poland!” Simion also backed him in the 2025 presidential race, not only through public appearances.

A December 2025 context.ro investigation found that Nawrocki’s campaign promotion was handled by Follow Digital Solutions, owned by Moldovan national Nicolae Capcelea. On 6 August 2025, at a MAGA conference in Warsaw, Simion said he had helped “with the online.”

“My party is very good at online activity. And we supported Karol Nawrocki with the online tools we had to get young people to the polls. (…) We asked for nothing in return (…) We are conservative brothers,” Simion said, as quoted by context.ro.

G4Media asked the Polish Presidency who administers the president’s official page and whether a contract exists; it had received no reply by publication. PiS MEP Patryk Jaki lists Follow Digital Solutions as a provider on his page but denied, according to frontstory.pl, that the firm also worked on Nawrocki’s campaign.

The same firm worked on Simion’s 2025 presidential campaign and for Anca Alexandrescu’s Bucharest mayoral bid. Capcelea, sole associate since 2024, was part of the Acțiunea 2012 platform with Simion; Expert Forum says the company received AUR promotion funds from its first year and reported multi-million-lei turnover in 2024–2025.
