Mihai Popșoi received on Monday, in Chișinău, the ambassadors of Germany, France and Poland to the OSCE, meeting in the Weimar Format. MFA communiqué, 19 October, 11:42. Moldova 1 and Radio Chișinău repeat the same thread. This is not a treaty. This is not a troop withdrawal. It is a meeting.
Popșoi: the Transnistrian settlement remains peaceful, political-diplomatic, within recognised borders. “The country’s reintegration is a process that is advancing, and our priority is to maintain peace and stability.” The quote is his. It is not a unification timetable. The MFA also speaks of a precarious state of rights in the eastern districts; that is Chișinău’s assessment, not a court finding.
The ambassadors, still in the communiqué, reconfirmed support for sovereignty, territorial integrity and the European path. They welcomed progress towards accession. There are no ambassador names in the MFA text. We have not invented them.
Popșoi thanked the OSCE Mission for dialogue, monitoring, rights. The next OSCE Ministerial Council: Lugano, 3–4 December 2026. That is the date agreed, not a resolution today. The Weimar Format is the DE–FR–PL triangle from 1991; here they are the three OSCE ambassadors, not the ministers.
Also on Monday, Popșoi spoke at the Chișinău security forum, about airspace, Gutinaș–Strășeni, the European Peace Facility. That is another speech. It does not belong at this table.
Three ambassadors, one minister, a quote about peace. The Transnistrian process did not close at lunch.
