Qatar Airways ranks first in Skytrax’s 2026 list of airlines for the overall business-class experience. Singapore Airlines is second, Cathay Pacific third, followed by ANA All Nippon Airways and Hainan Airlines. The awards were announced on 18 September 2026 at The Langham in London.

The same Skytrax release names Singapore Airlines the World’s Best Airline in the 2026 overall ranking. Qatar Airways, a nine-time previous winner of that overall title, is second in 2026 on that list, not first. The two league tables are not interchangeable.

For business class, Skytrax records Qatar Airways’ 13th “World’s Best Business Class Airline” award. In the same edition the carrier also took titles for the Al Mourjan Business Lounge The Garden, Best Airline in the Middle East, and the new “World’s Best Onboard Wi-Fi” award.

The results come from the 2025–2026 passenger satisfaction survey, covering travellers from more than 100 nationalities and more than 300 airlines. They are assessments under the organiser’s methodology, not measurements of every flight. Aircraft type, route, airport and cabin layout change the experience.

Skytrax also publishes separate categories for seats, lounges, catering and comfort. An airline can lead one category without holding the same place in all others.

The commercial label “business class” does not guarantee the same seat across a network. Travellers should check the product on the specific flight before booking.

This article keeps the wording “Skytrax ranking”, not “best in absolute terms”.
