ROMATSA is conditionally delaying the cut-off of terminal air-navigation services for DAN AIR until 6 November. If arrears remain unpaid, services will stop from 7 November at 00:00 Romanian time, the airspace manager said, according to G4Media.
On 29 October 2026 ROMATSA had notified DAN AIR that it would halt services over unpaid invoices for January–August 2026. On 2 November ROMATSA met the airline’s administrator, who proposed a staggered payment plan and guarantees.
“If the 6 November payments are not made, ROMATSA will suspend terminal air-navigation services for DAN AIR flights from 7 November 2026, 00:00 Romanian time. The same measure applies if the protocol is not signed on time or later instalments are missed,” the notice says.
ROMATSA says it applies the same rules to every airline that fails to pay for navigation services, without exception.
“ROMATSA is aware that aviation is going through a difficult period and remains open to finding solutions with airlines, within the law and contracts, so that passengers are not affected,” the agency added.
Passengers with bookings on DAN AIR flights are asked to contact the airline for information about their flights.
