At Tarna Mare, in Oaș, close to the Ukrainian border, Salvamont Satu Mare has marked 10 kilometres. Start: the town hall. Then Tarna Băi. End: Văgaș. Red stripe. Gazeta Nord-Vest put the lead. TV1 Satu Mare and Informația Zilei covered the handover: 18 October, Pataki Csaba, president of the county council, on the route. On foot, mountain bike, e-bike. That is a waymarking opening. It is not a motorway.

ziarsm.ro puts Saturday, 17 October, and “over 100” people: walkers, mountain rescuers, cyclists, runners. TV1 speaks of a handover outing, rescuers and experienced cyclists, technical notes. Two days, two figures. They are not melted together. The trail is the same: 10 km, town hall–Tarna Băi–Văgaș.

Who built it: TV1, the county public mountain-rescue service. ziarsm, Salvamont volunteers, with the county council and Tarna Mare town hall. Both can be true if the volunteers are from the service. The organigram is not invented here. The team presented the route and kept the outing safe, Informația Zilei writes.

Tarna Băi, mineral springs, again Informația Zilei. Văgaș, in ziarsm: house foundations, old orchards, a settlement that was. A historical note, not a ruin guide. The via ferrata on Măgura Bătarciului, 2023, another project, the same rescuers, visitors from the county and Maramureș. It is not this path.

The commune, one of the northernmost in the county. A leisure offer, in the handover copy. Anyone who wants nature has a red stripe. Anyone who wants a tourist count does not have it here. Over 100, if it is ziarsm, is a Saturday. It is not a season.

Until a winter, what remains is 10 kilometres and a stripe. After winter, what remains is whether Văgaș fills or stays an orchard. Between them, a county marking the north and a commune putting the stripe on the ground.
