Dumitru Bârsan, President of ASR: "We do not promise miracles. We propose work, seriousness and a real plan"
On August 20, 2026, the Bucharest Court of Justice admitted the application for registration of the Strategy Alliance for Romania - ASR Party. This decision represents a decisive stage for a political project built on the desire to offer Romania a serious, democratic and results-oriented alternative.

"As president of the Strategy Alliance for Romania, I announce the public launch of our party and the beginning of a path that we want to travel alongside citizens who believe that Romania can be better administered.
ASR was not born from the desire to add another name to the list of political parties. It was born from the conviction that Romania needs a coherent national strategy, with clear objectives in the short, medium and long term.
I have lived and worked in the diaspora, I have built businesses and I know how difficult it is to start from the bottom. I know the difficulties of the entrepreneur who faces bureaucracy, lack of predictability and permanent change of rules. I also know the longing of Romanians abroad, who continue to love their country and contribute to its development, even if they live thousands of kilometers away.
The policy that ASR will pursue starts from a simple idea: the state must work for the citizen, not the citizen for the system.
We want an efficient, professional and digitalized administration, in which public positions are filled based on competence criteria, and institutions are accountable for their results. We support the reduction of bureaucracy, transparency in the spending of public money and zero tolerance for corruption, clientelism and waste.
In the economy, ASR will support entrepreneurship, investments and fiscal stability.
Romanian agriculture and industry must produce value again in Romania. We will support investments in irrigation, storage, local processing, infrastructure, energy and logistics.
Education must be treated as the country's main strategic investment. We support the reduction of school dropout, the modernization of the curriculum, the development of vocational and dual education and a stronger link between school and the labor market. In health, we will pursue faster access to medical services, prevention, the consolidation of family medicine and efficient management of hospitals.
Diaspora will occupy an important place in ASR policy. Romanians abroad should not be sought only during elections. They must be consulted, represented and permanently involved in decisions regarding the future of Romania. We will support modern consular services, facilitate electoral participation, recognize qualifications and real programs for those who want to return and invest at home.
The patriotism we promote is civic, democratic and responsible, based on respect for people, the law and national values.

ASR is not a project built against anyone. It is a project built for Romania. We address entrepreneurs, employees, farmers, teachers, doctors, young people, pensioners and millions of Romanians in the diaspora. We invite honest and competent people who want to contribute to changing the country to join us.
We know that citizens' trust is not demanded, but earned through deeds. Therefore, we assume the periodic evaluation of the results, public consultation and transparency of our decisions.
