Netflix will test several AI-based features to recommend films and series in a new section called AI Discover, the company said, according to news.ro.

AI Discover will be where the platform experiments with tools meant to help subscribers decide what to watch next. The first feature offers recommendations by mood — themes such as “something light,” “something short” or “scary.” After picking a theme, users can choose niches and tweak suggestions.

Underneath sits an AI system Netflix built to learn and respond in real time to what subscribers watch. The company says it will keep or drop features based on user feedback.
