The 2026 Presidents Cup is played from 24 to 27 September at Medinah Country Club, Course No. 3, in Illinois. It is the 16th edition. A United States side faces an International Team — players from outside Europe, not the Ryder Cup.
Competition days are Thursday to Sunday. Tuesday and Wednesday, 22–23 September, are reserved for practice, according to the organisers. Each match yields points; the result is the two teams’ totals, not individual stroke play.
Brandt Snedeker captains the Americans, Geoff Ogilvy the Internationals. On 1 September 2026 the PGA Tour reported Ogilvy’s six picks, after the automatic qualifiers. Session pairings may change close to the start. This account does not invent them.
Medinah hosted the 2012 Ryder Cup. Spectators should check tickets, transport, bags and device rules. The presidentscup.com homepage is a hub; the source remains the PGA Tour article on the International roster.
No winner is predicted. Broadcasts differ by country. Illinois local times are not Europe/London.
Until the first tee, the schedule may be updated. Any VIP guest list without an official notice remains a rumour.
The contest has not started. 24 September is the first match day, not a result.
