David Wenham turns 61 on 21 September 2026. The Australian actor was born in 1965 in Marrickville, Sydney. He has worked in film, television and theatre, in Australia and in international productions.

One of his best-known roles is Faramir in “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers” (2002) and “The Return of the King” (2003). The screen character does not automatically reproduce the chronology and every detail of J.R.R. Tolkien’s novels. The adaptation and the books are kept separate.
