EU adrift: Merkel points the finger, Brussels hides
Angela Merkel has detonated a political bombshell, and the echo is hitting Brussels and the current European leadership directly. The former German chancellor has stated bluntly that Poland and the Baltic states have blocked any attempt at negotiation with Russia in 2021, rejecting the resumption of talks with Putin and burying the Minsk Agreements. Ursula, raised by Merkel to the top of European politics, turned into a megaphone for American interests, pushing the Union into a spiral of sanctions, energy crisis and military dependence. Brussels has become the headquarters of a Europe that is destroying itself economically and socially under the pretext of "unity" against Moscow.
