Three Republican House committee leaders have asked Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to attend a closed-door briefing on his relationship with a tech executive suspected of being an agent of Chinese intelligence, G4Media reports, citing CNBC.

“Recent reports raise significant national-security concerns regarding the PRC’s access to sensitive U.S. technology and information,” the lawmakers wrote in a letter to Huang made public Thursday.

They seek details on Huang’s interactions with Alice Huang, a Megaspeed executive, and on Nvidia’s protocols against foreign espionage. The New York Times reported U.S. intelligence concluded that Alice Huang, a Chinese national, passed information to Beijing and developed a close relationship with the Nvidia chief; President Donald Trump was briefed about a year ago and chose not to act, NYT sources said.

The letter is signed by Brian Mast (Foreign Affairs), John Moolenaar (China Select) and Rick Crawford (Intelligence). A joint in-person meeting is sought for 18 November; Nvidia reports third-quarter results on 17 November.

Nvidia has not confirmed whether Jensen Huang will attend. The company said meetings with Alice Huang were no different from those with other customers and that regional cloud clients receive ordinary commercial information, not national-security secrets.
